Joe Belanger has always been my mentor. He hired me back in 2006, as an internal sales coordinator at NAPA. Not only did he believe in my capabilities, but he pushed me to become a stronger individual. Joe is a real team leader, always giving credit and merit to his employees, and always ready to take the hit for them. He works hard, inspires, encourages, and teaches.

Joe has stayed in contact with me, even though he retired from NAPA. He kept pushing me to become more. Today, I manage 2 Volvo Construction Equipment dealers, about 30 employees, and hope that I can become that same type of mentor. I work for an Nors, a company that employs over 4000 employees around the globe. In this male dominated industry, only 73 women have management roles, and I am proud to say I am one of them. Thanks to Joe, who always believed a determined woman would get the job done.
