Representing every resident means from our poorest to our wealthiest, from the healthy to those with serious health conditions, and those from every nationality, culture, religious belief, and sexual orientation. In my opinion, we have not solicited the information required to understand our resident’s greatest priorities, and consequently, our priorities and expenditures have not always addressed their greatest needs.

 

When re-elected I will continue to promote & solicit a broad spectrum of public input in order to effectively influence the resetting of the council’s priorities. I expect that reduced taxation, improved health care, affordable/attainable & appropriate housing for all residents, resident safety, and being better stewards of our environment will be high on the list.
